I met Bob Carlos Clarke in Glasgow in 1986 at an Agfa presentation and ended up drinking and getting hammered with him and his wife all night in the Kelvingrove Stakis (now Hilton) I was 21 and he was my Hero. I loved his amazing sexy montaged images and his pure black and white gritty images. He is responsible for my liking of imagery of shiny rubber and I think of him often,  I'm sad at how his life ended.
